I became passionate about video work while in college at Bowling Green State University. When I had the opportunity to perform with my acapella singing group for a local TV station, I was able to see the hustle and spirit that comes with live production. I applied to work at the station right away and enjoyed a few more years there, learning the ropes and building the foundation for an amazing career.

Having lived in Ohio my whole life, my wife and I eventually packed up our bags and our two mischievous cats and we moved to NYC without any job prospects. I'm not sure what we were thinking as we crowded into one bedroom in an apartment with strangers, but it was an exciting time for following our passions. After working as a server for a good while, I luckily found my first "in" with SB Nation making videos for Youtube and it's been upward and onward ever since! I went on to become the Technical Director for Time Inc. Studios and stayed on for over six years. I now am the Senior Technical Producer at Siriusxm in the new Video Programming department.

As a leader in the control room and on location, I encourage my crew to do their best work through respectful communication and guidance. One of my biggest strengths is working well with others as a team member or leader. Production is a lively and fun environment in which you must work hard and be creative to bring an idea to life. It suits me pretty well!

I currently live in Montclair, NJ with my beautiful wife, those trouble-making cats and our bright, energetic baby girl. While much of my personal time goes to raising that baby up, I also love to cook, hike the lovely NJ parks, play video games, play guitar and sing! In fact, here is a goofy video I made at SB Nation that shows just that!
